Description

Mort Drucker Mad #359 Batman and Batgirl Cover Original Art (EC, 1997). Batman and Robin, the fourth film in the franchise, was such a turkey that a Mad parody was pretty much overkill, but that didn't stop the usual gang of idiots from flogging the big budget bat-flick. Mort Drucker created this uproarious cover scene with Alfred E. Neuman donning the cape and cowl -- now, it may be time to worry! We've got to agree with Batgirl, it's enough to make you gag. This was actually the fourth version of four covers created for this issue (a concept originated by TV Guide), which showed the four main characters (Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Mr. Freeze) in various combinations with Alfred. This boffo "bats-terpiece" measures an overall 15.5" x 21", and the art is in Excellent condition.
