Description

Charles Schulz Peanuts Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-8-56 (United Feature Syndicate, 1956). Lucy manages to get Charlie Brown's goat once more, as she taunts him with wisecracks about his "round head." Poor ol' Charlie Brown! The yin and yang of Charlie Brown and Lucy's relationship was one of the elements that made the early Peanuts strips so much fun. Lucy, the eternal fussbudget with a wicked tongue, cuts to the quick of Charlie Brown's fragile ego every time! This winter-themed strip has an image area of approximately 27" x 5.5"; the artboard was trimmed for framing (with tape from an old matting on the reverse side), and has been mildly tanned from light exposure. Like all Peanuts originals from this period, the board was folded between the second and third panel. The overall condition is Very Good.
