Tom Palmer Star Wars #100 Cover Painting Original Art (Marvel, 1985). Most of the original main cast are present on this 100th issue special! That includes Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and a Stormtrooper. Famous ships such as X-Wings, Tie Fighters, the Millennium Falcon, and even Darth Vader's personal Tie-Fighter are featured!Tom Palmer is well-known as an inker, having literally thousands of stories with his byline. But here we get to revel in his incredible painting skills. And even though this is a favorite cover of collectors, when you see the original you will realize Marvel's reproduction did Palmer no favors, this is really a vibrant piece!
Created in mixed media on illustration board with an image area of 13.75" x 21.75". Signed in the lower left of the image area. In Excellent condition.
