Al Capp Li'l Abner The Scraggs: Romeo, Lem, and Luke Illustration Original Art (United Feature Syndicate, undated). Daisy Mae's kinfolk, Romeo Scragg and his twin sons Lem and Luke are features on this illustration that may have been used for a licensed advertisement or product. Al Capp marketed the strip in clever and inventive ways. In graphite at he top of this piece it says "Brandman with Staff Assistants", and it is numbered #3. There may be a connection between this piece and the Mammy Yokum item offered in this same sale. They are on the same size Bristol and it appears to be about the same age. This piece's art is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6" x 11". Tanned with some production oil stains and wear. In Very Good condition.
