Description

Dudley Fisher Right Around Home Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-20-39 (King Features Syndicate, 1939). A large piece (18" x 26") with plenty going on! The irrepressible Myrtle is out on a limb (literally) in this fun and chaotic image of America on vacation. This feature was so popular it eventually spun Myrtle into a daily strip of her own. She also gets a companion piece at the bottom of this one. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board. The page is lightly toned, with some handling wear. The logo and title are stat paste-ups. Overall, the page is in Very Good condition.
