Description

Robert Williams Zap Comix #10 Complete 4-Page Story "I Mock Verbatim" Original Art (Last Gasp, 1982). The eye-gouging art of Robert Williams is beloved by his many fans. This cautionary fable titled "I Mock Verbatim" is from an earlier period and is more controlled. The format, especially on the first page, is reminiscent of Classics Illustrated or other fable adaptations. The tale of the heraldry headless parrot is rendered in ink and white paint over graphite on paper with an image area of 7" x 10.5". The pages are lightly toned, otherwise, in Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
