Witches Tales #25 (Harvey, 1954) CGC VF+ 8.5 Cream to off-white pages. The famous and gruesome decapitation cover on this issue gave many a kid nightmares back in 1954. Howard Nostrand is the boogeyman responsible for the cover and interior art, with Bob Powell also contributing art. Heritage has never offered a higher-graded copy. Overstreet 2020 VF 8.0 value = $1,030; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,765. CGC census 4/21: 3 in 8.5, 7 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
