Description
Johnny Craig Vault of Horror #18 Reprint Cover Original Art (Russ Cochran, 1982). This re-creation of the 1951 cover by the same artist, was needed because the original cover art from the Gaines files was lost. Craig did a fantastic job re-doing his previous art for this 1982 reprint. Created at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.5" x 19". The logo/masthead, and the three horror hosts floating heads are all stat paste-ups. Signed by Craig in the lower right. In Excellent condition.From the Roger Hill Collection.
