Description

Sal Buscema and Jim Mooney The Sub-Mariner #35 Thor and Hulk Story Page 15 Original Art (Marvel,1971). Although this is Namor's book, you wouldn't guess that from this page that features a huge slobberknocker between Winghead and Marvel's Jade Giant. Every panel on this page is a treat, and the highlight is in Panel 5 when the Hulk finds out he cannot lift Mjolnir. That's because, of course, Thor's magic mallet is enchanted so that only someone worthy of the power of the God of Thunder can lift the heavy hammer. And that did not include the incredible Hulk! Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board is lightly toned, with some minor production stains and a stripped-in text correction taped into Panel 5. In Very Good condition.
