Description

Todd McFarlane and Rick Magyar Spider-Man #11 Story Page 10 Original Art (Marvel, 1991). Look here, web-heads! This striking splash image by Todd McFarlane captures everyone's favorite wall-crawler at a key moment in the penultimate issue of the memorable "Perceptions" storyline, co-starring Wolverine. Spidey has two feet on the wall and his head in the clouds, racking his brain for a way to convince everyone that Wendigo is actually innocent of the crimes he's been blamed for. McFarlane illustrates the scene with his usual flair, presenting a large image of Spider-Man crouched against the wall and staring at the street below, interrupted only by a single narrow panel to the left featuring a close-up of one of Spidey's masked eyes. Just imagine how much better Spidey would look hanging on your wall, true believer! Rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Marvel Comics Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Lightly toned, with stat paste-ups used for text (several are discolored), whiteout corrections, adhesive staining, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
