Description
Gil Kane and Pablo Marcos Conan the Barbarian #70 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Conan fights alongside Bêlit, his greatest love, against hordes of pirate barbarians in this action-packed cover harkening back to classic Robert E. Howard tales including "Queen of the Black Coast" and "Marchers of Valhalla". Rendered by the legendary Gil Kane, this cover evokes the best of sword and sorcery and perfectly illustrates the appeal of Conan. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are cuts to the art along the edge of the title and corner box stat paste-ups, with production marks and notes, staining, whiteout, toning to the board, and handling wear. Signed in the upper left image area and in Very Good condition.More information about Gil Kane. See also: Kane, Gil, Eli Katz, Scott Edwards Artist. Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
