Description
All Select Comics #10 The Promise Collection Pedigree (Timely, 1946) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. An impossible grade on this copy that features the last appearances of Captain America and the Human Torch in the title. This is, of course, the single highest-graded copy on CGC's census for the issue. The chaotic Alex Schomburg cover has the star trio -- Cap, the Torch, and the Sub-Mariner -- rescuing the accident-prone Bucky from some menacing mountain mobsters. J. Edgar Hoover even makes an appearance in the issue. Prior to seeing this eye-popping Promise Collection copy, we had never seen a copy of #10 with a grade above NM- 9.2. Overstreet 2021 NM- 9.2 value = $5,000. CGC census 9/21: 1 in 9.8, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
