Description
Superman #53 (DC, 1948) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. A Wayne Boring classic cover gets the party started in this tenth anniversary extravaganza. The Superman origin is slightly overhauled and revised in its third telling; it would be revised again in issue 61. This solid example is visually pleasing, and is currently surpassed by only one other CGC-graded copy. Overstreet 2010 VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,391; NM- 9.2 value = $4,800.
