Description
Thrilling Comics #44 Mile High Pedigree (Better Publications, 1944) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. Hitler isn't expecting company, when Doc Strange "drops" by for a chat, on this war-time cover by Alex Schomburg. Though CGC has certified some two dozen copies of this issue to date, this is the only one that grades above VF 8.0. While not widely known as a particularly scarce issue, we question the veracity of that -- this one of just about a half dozen copies that we have ever seen... plus it's an Edgar Church Mile High copy. Overstreet 2015 NM- 9.2 value = $4,200. CGC census 8/15: 2 in 9.4, none higher.CGC Grader Notes:
