Strange Adventures #1 (DC, 1950) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. Distinctive premiere issue's cover featured an adaptation of Destination Moon, with a photo cover. There's also the beginning of an adaptation of Edmond Hamilton's "Chris KL-99" that would continue through issue #3, and the first Darwin Jones. Curt Swan, Howard Sherman, and Jim Mooney were among the interior artists. Overstreet 2010 VF 8.0 value = $1,986; VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,943. CGC census 10/10: 8 in 8.5, 6 higher.
