Albedo #2 (Thoughts and Images, 1984) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. Featuring the first appearance of Usagi Yojimbo, this ranks highly among the most valuable comics of the last 40 years. Stan Sakai provides the cover and art for the introduction of his signature creation, and Sakai continues to write and draw the ronin rabbit to this day. Often associated with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this issue includes letters from Peter Laird and Don Thompson, and additionally story and art by Steven Gallacci.We last offered a CGC 9.6 Universal Grade in 2021, ending at $24,000, and most recently offered a CGC 9.8 with white pages in January 2024, selling for $55,200.
