Description
Marvel Mystery Comics #31 (Timely, 1942) CGC FN+ 6.5 Light tan to off-white pages. Al Gabriele held his own among his more renowned Timely cover artists with covers such as this WWII action-fest. The issue was a special "Remember Pearl Harbor" issue, and featured story art by Carl Burgos and Bill Everett. Surprisingly few copies of this issue have earned higher CGC grades to date, and this is just the fourth copy in any grade we've offered in the past seven years. Overstreet 2012 FN 6.0 value = $891; VF 8.0 value = $2,070. CGC census 11/12: 4 in 6.5, 6 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
