Description

Fantastic Four #5 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. The origin and first appearance of Doctor Doom is the most valuable issue of the entire Fantastic Four run with the exception of issue #1! And here's a very solid copy. The only thing that we can see, keeping this book from "high-grade" range is some very slight Marvel chipping on the right edge of the cover, and a couple of very small color breaks in that dark blue area of the spine to the left of Dr. Doom. The book contains a full-page ad for Incredible Hulk #1 and a letter from Roy Thomas. Jack Kirby cover and art, natch! Overstreet 2013 VF 8.0 value = $5,500. CGC census 11/13: 32 in 7.5, 70 higher.

CGC Grader Notes:
Front Cover Marvel Chipping
Full Top Back Cover Lite Wear
Right Top Front Cover Erasure Mark Breaks Color
Spine Stress Lines Breaks Color
