G.I. Combat #87 (DC, 1961) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. DC's "Big Five" war comic issues can be mighty tough to find in high grade; this one's a prime example. Only one copy has scored a CGC grade higher than VF 8.0, and here it is! And few of the genre are more key than the issue with the first appearance of the Haunted Tank. You want more? Just take a gander at the the spectacular cover, a Russ Heath grey tone beaut that makes the Overstreet "classic cover" list. Overstreet 2011 VF 8.0 value = $978; VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,989.
