Detective Comics #5 (DC, 1937) CGC Apparent FN 6.0 Moderate (A-3) Off-white pages. We haven't offered a complete copy of this issue since 2020! For a Golden Age collector concerned with eye appeal, this is the book for you; the highest-graded copy we've previously offered (either unrestored or restored) was a CGC 5.0 back in 2009. Creig Flessel provides the Speed Saunders cover and art, alongside a Slam Bradley story by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. Larry Steele features begin in this issue, which the Photo-Journal Guide to Comics rates a "7" ("scarce") in its Scarcity Index.
