Description
Greg and Tim Hildebrandt Star Wars Galaxy Series 3 Trading Cards #310/Promo Card #P6 "The Four Jedi" Painting Original Art (Topps, 1995). Shortly after working separately for 12 years, the Brothers Hildebrandt returned to the subject of one of their most famous works... Star Wars! Their painting for the original movie poster catapulted their career. This new work was used as the cover for Star Wars Galaxy Magazine #5, which also contained "Promo Card P6", and the image was also used for some printed ads which ran in various industry publications. The large piece features the four main Jedi known at that time... Luke Skywalker, Master Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the failed Jedi who turned to the Dark Side... Darth Vader. Produced in oil on board, the open-front framed image area measures approximately 21.5" x 33". Framed to 24.5" x 35.5" and in Excellent condition. Signed in the lower left, it comes with a copy of Star Wars Galaxy Magazine #5, a copy of the P6 promo card, and a tearsheet of a printed ad.More information about Hildebrandt, Greg.
