Leading Comics #1 (DC, 1941) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white pages. The Seven Soldiers of Victory -- Green Arrow (in just his second appearance and first cover appearance), Speedy, Crimson Avenger, Vigilante, Silent Knight, and the Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy -- debuted in this issue of the all-star DC series, designed to highlight its second-tier stars. Variations of the team and its members pop up in DC comics to this day. The facts that this title is often overlooked by Golden Age collectors, and is somewhat undervalued by Overstreet, make this a modestly priced Golden Age key.
