Four Color #386 Uncle Scrooge (Dell, 1952) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. We have only sold four higher-graded copies in almost 15 years of comic auctions. Uncle Scrooge stars in "Only A Poor Old Man," with the story, cover, and interior art by Carl "The Good Duck Artist" Barks. This is the first cover appearance for the miserly duck, and Overstreet considers this to be the first issue of the Uncle Scrooge series. Overstreet 2015 VF/NM 9.0 value = $3,339; NM- 9.2 value = $5,200. CGC census 5/16: 16 in 9.0, 15 higher.
