Captain America Comics #4 Recil Macon Pedigree (Timely, 1941) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. An impressive copy that outranks The Promise Collection copy on the CGC census. This early Captain America comic also contains one of the earliest Marvel works by Stan Lee, in the form of a text story starring Cap. The Nazi henchman / hypodermic needle cover is by Alex Schomburg, one of the earliest in his iconic run. Additional stories, story art, and the back cover pin-up are by the equally legendary Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Overstreet 2024 VF 8.0 value = $12,600.
