Pep Comics #24 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. Behind this issue's thrilling World War II-themed Shield cover is the fourth appearance of Archie Andrews, as well as an early appearance of Coach Kleats (unnamed at this point). The cover is by Irv Novick, and the interior art is by Novick, Bob Montana, and Paul Reinman. This is the highest-graded copy certified by CGC to date (with the runner-up rating FN- 5.5), as well as the highest-graded of the five copies we've seen so far.
