Description

Magician Mickey Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "Oh boy, ice cream!" This extraordinary 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing comes from the short Magician Mickey. It was directed by David Hand (1900 - 1986) and was released on 2/6/37. Mickey puts on a magic act, though Donald heckles him at every turn. Goofy, meanwhile, makes an appearance as the stagehand. The drawing is rendered in graphite with color pencil and puts the spotlight on everyone's favorite short-tempered duck. Donald messes with Mickey's wand and accidentally summons a gigantic ice cream cone. This can be found at roughly 4:15. The drawing is labeled DR 115. It measures about 6.5'' x 6'' in an 11.5'' x 9'' mat window. The frame measures 20'' x 17''. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Light age-related toning with minor handling wear. Faint superficial wrinkles, smudges, and faded color pencil. Very Good condition.
