Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Gosh, I don't know how to catch a giant." Mickey sighs, curling in on himself. Despite all odds, he will overcome and find a way to win the hand of Princess Minnie in this highly acclaimed animated classic directed by Burt Gillett and Bill Roberts. The short was released on 9/28/1938 and is thought to be one of Mickey's best, placing him in the role of the peasant tailor trying to win the hand of the princess. The 12 field 5-peghole drawing of this key moment can be found at about 4:24, shortly after Mickey leaves the kingdom to find the giant. This large, centered full-figure image measures roughly 5.25'' x 3.5'' and is noted as 65EC in the lower right corner. There are two small notes in red with a mark in the upper right. Very Good condition overall for this gorgeous animation drawing with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and a small bit of paint debris.
