Shanghaied Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey uses whatever he can find to fend off the villainous pirate Pete and his crew in this action-packed 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing from Shanghaied. Mickey can be found at about the 2:34 mark of the theatrical animation, just before he charges at Pete and spears him with the large swordfish in his hands. He's determined to save Minnie by any means necessary, a focused expression on his face as he prepares himself. The full figure mouse is rendered in graphite with an approximate image size of 5.25'' x 3.25''. The drawing is noted as 52 in the lower right corner. This wonderful lot is in Very Good condition with light age-related toning, minor edge and handling wear, and faint superficial wrinkles away from the image.Auction Info
