Ye Olden Days Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). This is a stunning 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey and Minnie from this 1933 short directed by Burt Gillett (1891 - 1971). The classic and historical short features Mickey the minstrel as he rescues Princess Minnie from an arranged marriage with an early version of Goofy, Dippy Dawg. This amazing graphite drawing was created for the final scene as the happy couple are carried by the happy crowd. You can find it at about the 8:07 mark. The full figure pair measure about 3'' x 3.25 and are numbered 86 in the lower right corner. Some age-related toning as expected from a 90-year-old piece. Minor edge and handling wear with faint superficial wrinkles. Very Good condition.Auction Info
