Description
The Mad Doctor Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). "Pluto!" After waking from a distressing nightmare where he and Pluto are kidnapped by a villainous mad doctor, Mickey is quick to call for his faithful pup. Pluto is chained to his doghouse outside, but he's not about to let that stop him! He jumps through the mouse's window and the two share a sweet moment that is forever captured in this pair of 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. The dog and mouse are smiling widely and rendered in graphite with color pencil, hand-drawn highlights on Pluto's doghouse. Mickey can be found at about 6:19 and Pluto a little later at roughly 6:23. Mickey measures roughly 4'' x 2.75'' while Pluto is around 6.75'' x 4.75'', noted as 39 and A23 in the lower right corner. Light age-related toning with minor handling and edge wear.
