Description

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Benny the Cab and Roger Rabbit Rough Layout Drawing and Benny the Cab Practice Model Sheet (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1988). From the revolutionary film that mixed live actions with animation Who Framed Roger Rabbit, we have in this lot a remarkable rough layout drawing showing Roger Rabbit and Benny the Cab and a fantastic practice model sheet of the hilarious cartoon taxi cab. The rough layout drawing shows Roger Rabbit about to ride on Benny the Cab, measuring 5" x 3.75", rendered in graphite, showing sketched notes next to it, numbered 17 near the top right corner with the inscription "Never" on the top edge. Featuring various expressive images of Benny, the practice model sheet shows 15 pictures of the taxi cab rendered in blue pencil, created by an animator to get accustomed to depicting the character. Both drawings are done on 16-field animation sheets. The practice model sheet shows faint age-related toning and a fold crease in the top right area. Overall, the lot is in Very Good condition, showing light handling and edge wear from production.
