Description

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Roger Rabbit and Mrs. Herman Original Storyboard Art Group of 4 (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1988). "Whatever you say. Yes, ma'am. Aye, aye, sir. Okeydokey." Who Framed Roger Rabbit blew audiences away with its clever, masterful combination of live-action and traditional animation in collaboration between Disney and Amblin Entertainment. This lot includes four amazing original storyboards from the opening sequence of the film that helped to bring about the Disney Renaissance! The storyboards were made for the scene starting at about 1:03 in the Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman in-universe short when Mrs. Herman tells Roger to look after Baby Herman and Roger hastily agrees, not wanting to be sent back to the science lab. Story artists on the film included Syd Cain, Michael White, Mark Kausler, Hans Bacher, Joe Ranft, Harold Siepermann, and Toby Shelton. Mrs. Herman was also notably voiced by April Winchell, the daughter of Tigger's original voice actor Paul Winchell, and was her first voice acting role. The storyboards are rendered in mixed media on roughly 8.5'' x 6.5'' paper and are marked 5, 6, 36, and 56 with dialogue notes on three storyboards. Very Good condition with only light edge and handling wear, tape on the back top edge, and pinholes from studio use!
