Description
George of the Jungle and The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle Movie Premieres Items Group of 64+ (Walt Disney/Universal Studios, 1997/2000). Voice actor June Foray did not work on Disney's live-action film version of George of the Jungle but she was an honored guest at the film's splashy 7/9/1997 premiere held at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Included from June's personal archives are: "World Premiere Safari Passport and Safari Train Boarding Pass; Official Safari Map with stops; Film Program; Laminated Badge with an image of Brendon Fraser; and fourteen color snapshots of June with Fraser, Leslie Man ("Ursula") and Billie Ward, Jay's widow, plus a handwritten letter from Billie. June did supply voices for the CGI-animated/live-action movie The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle as Natasha and the Narrator's Mother. She was also a guest star at the 6/24/2000 premiere, and here are her items from that date: the original invitation letter, with envelope; a card invitation for the cast and crew screening; one ticket to the film; two "Reserved" cards w/envelope; a ticket to the afterparty; a flyer with map on green paper; a two-page memorandum from Universal concerning reviews; an unfolded Coca-Cola souvenir box; a still-sealed Read-Along booklet with cassette tape; and a bag with 34 Rocky and Bullwinkle plastic/paper badges, each measuring approximately 2" x 1.5". A you can see, June saved EVERYTHING! Items range in condition from Good to Fine, most in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.From the June Foray Archives.
