Who wouldn't benefit from the sage counsel of Homer J. Simpson in their workspace or home. Presented here is an original Homer Simpson interactive desktop sidekick by Playmates. The animated figure connects to any PC with a USB connection and comes with a CD-ROM to download the operating program. It is compatible with Windows 98 and Mac OS 9.0, which means you'll finally have a use for that old computer in the back of your closet. Once the figure is connected, Homer responds to keyboard and mouse input and recognizes Microsoft Word, Excel, and other popular programs and browsers. As it says ion the box, "Just pop in the CD-ROM and get ready for some Homer-active fun!" Does it still work with today's technology? That is difficult to say as this toy has not been tested. It is still in it's original packaging, which has been opened. All the accessories (CD-ROM and USB cord) are included. A fun piece, even if only for display.
