Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Rock Bottom" Patrick Star Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Nickelodeon, 2000). "Don't worry, SpongeBob. I'm coming back for you!" Right at the end of the SpongeBob SquarePants Episode "Rock Bottom," we get to see this image of Patrick Star riding a bus back to Rock Bottom to save his friend SpongeBob, not realizing that he had already returned. The pan-sized production cel has Patrick riding on the bus, measuring a phenomenal image size of 15" x 10" on the 19.5" x 10.5" cel, numbered B46A on the bottom edge. The lot also features the animation drawing of Patrick on the bus, rendered in graphite with blue colored pencil. The animation drawing has an added piece of paper taped to the right edge and the top and bottom edges to complete the pan size. The animation drawing shows surface scuffing, a fold line going through the middle of the drawing, residue paint near the top right corner, and some handling wear from production. The cel shows light wear on the linework and light handling wear from production. The overall condition of the lot is Good to Very Good.Auction Info
