Description
The Simpsons "Trilogy of Error" Chief Wiggum, Bart, and Milhouse Production Cel (Fox, 2001). "Your mission is to find the fireworks smugglers and get them to say something incriminating on this tape." Chief Wiggum gets Bart to wear a wire to Catch Fat Tony and his gang in Episode 18 of Season 12. In this lot is an extraordinary hand-painted production cel of Wiggum, Bart and Milhouse that appears at the 18:27 mark. The three characters together measure 8" x 6" on a 12 field cel over a matching print background. The top cel bears a gold fox seal, and a studio-issued COA is on back of the frame. It's a fabulous image that needs no explanation from a very funny episode. The art is in a 21" x 18" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 9". Condition is Very Good.
