Description
The Ren & Stimpy Show Ren and Stimpy Production Cel (Nickelodeon, c. 1990s). One of the characteristic elements of The Ren & Stimpy Show is the peculiar animation quirks that made the show visually stand out from many of the cartoons of that era. Presented in this lot is a great example of one of those quirks, showing the contrasting protagonist of the show, the easily irritated Ren, and the oblivious Stimpy, slightly off model in favor of comedic expressions achieved in this hand-painted production cel. The annoyed-looking Ren stands at 3.75", while Stimpy tries to sneak away, measuring 5" tall, with both characters show in full figure. The two-layer cel is featured on a printed background and bears a Nickelodeon sticker in the top left corner. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with this lot. Showcasing light handling wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
