Description
The Ren & Stimpy Show "Secret Fan Club" Ren and Stimpy Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1991). "Shut up, you fool! How do we know we can trust them?" Ren rebukes Stimpy for revealing the location of their secret headquarters in this extraordinary hand-painted production cel from the recurrent segment "Secret Fan Club" from The Ren and Stimpy Show. Originally shown after the segment "Robin Höek," the short was used to transition between episodes and had Ren and Stimpy transmitting from their secret headquarters, first located miles below the Earth's crust and then in the large intestine of a sperm whale. This three-layer production cel features an especially annoyed Ren measuring 3.75" x 2.5", approaching Stimpy, wearing his special gear and measuring 5.5" x 3.75". The cel is presented on a printed background and the top layer bears a Nickelodeon stamp in the bottom right corner. A COA in included with this lot. The lot has reinforced pegholes in the top layer, shows tape residue in the bottom corners. Presenting light handling wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
