Description
The Klondike Kid Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawings Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1932). "Pluto!" Mickey awakens Pluto, and they are off to the rescue, braving the wind, ice, and cold to chase Pierre (aka Peg Leg Pete) who has just made away with Minnie, in this sequence of three original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. Watch that whip, Mickey - that's your pal Pluto you're snapping it at! The three drawings from this Wilfred Jackson-directed short, first shown on 11/18/1932, include two graphite images of Mickey cracking the whip. The first is numbered 125 in the lower right, with an approximate image size of 3" x 3.25", and can be seen in the film at the 3:51 mark in online viewings. The other Mickey piece is numbered 191, with an image of 6.25" x 3.5", seen at the 3:52 mark. The third drawing is of Pluto and the sled, as Mickey's faithful pooch leaps into action; the art is in graphite with a small bit of red pencil, for a main image size of 5.5" x 2.25". It can be found at the 3:50 mark. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and some age-related paper toning along the right edges.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
