Description
John Buchan The Thirty-Nine Steps First Edition (William Blackwood and Sons, 1915). A stunning first edition, first printing copy with blue boards with a hard-to-come-by dust jacket. Buchan's most celebrated story was initially published under the pseudonym H. de V. in Blackwood magazine's July, August, and September issues, published by Blackwood in the following October in this hardcover edition due to popular demand. The book is in Near Fine condition. The dust jacket is in Good condition, with a 3.5" tear from the bottom of the spine and a 1.75" tear from the top.From the Gary Munson Collection.
