stores in the US in 1988, many consumers were baffled over its many
differences from the first game in the series, particularly the new
"plucking power" move. However, most gamers were nevertheless
impressed with its tremendous quality in terms of graphics, depth,
gameplay, sounds, and more, and the game certainly holds up well
today--it remains a fun challenge! We especially love the fact that
you can play as four different beloved characters: Mario, Luigi,
Toad, and the Princess, each of whom played a big role in the
recent feature film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
Interestingly, this copy has a 9.8 first-print manual. CGC
