Battletoads - VGA 80 NM Sealed, Game Boy Tradewest 1991 USA. There are only three copies of this game on VGA's December census. While Battletoads earned its reputation on the NES for brutal difficulty and wildly inventive stages, the scarcer Game Boy release, which was also developed by Rare, often flies under the radar. Rather than a straight port, it's an entirely original entry in the series, sharing the beat-'em-up foundation but featuring exclusive levels, enemy arrangements, and boss encounters that give it a "toad-ally" distinct identity. While the box has some mild corner wear and a light 1.5" crease on the left spine, it presents very nicely for its grade.Auction Info
