Description

Bernie Wrightson - Creepshow, page 7 Original Art (Signet, 1982). Once, Aunt Bedelia loved a man, but her overbearing father had him killed, so that Bedelia would continue to care for him in his invalid state. Who wouldn't hate this vindictive old man? This page is interesting in that it features a brief two-panel sequence set in a morgue that did not appear in the film. Bernie Wrightson's powerful use of deep reds and oranges makes this page bloody beautiful. The art was lettered on an acetate overlay, which has a 3" tear in the bottom left corner. The image area measures 12.5" x 16" and the artwork is in Excellent condition.
