Vicente Segrelles The Silver Eggheads Cover Original Art (Mondadori Editore, 1978). Premium cover for the Italian edition of Fritz Leiber's original 1961 fantasy novel, The Silver Eggheads. Vicente Segrelles shows us once again the palette of his mastered talent, through a SF cover far from the Horror and Fantasy universes he loves, by projecting us into a distant future where the laziness of humans has relegated man to the rank of simple guardians of machines. Segrelles still manages to infuse a hint of horror in the eyes of a man carried by the dominant machine, but is it benevolent? Oil painting on Bristol paper with an image area of 11.25" x 19". Il a malgré tout insufflé un soupçon d'horreur dans le regard de cet homme porté par la machine dominante, mais est-elle bienveillante ? Peinture à l'huile sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 29 x 47,5 cm. Signée. Légère manipulation. En Excellente condition.
