Description
Pokémon Nidoking 11 1st Edition Base Set CGC Trading Card Game Near Mint 7 (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) Rare, Holo. This 1st Edition Base Set card features the large, purple, reptilian Pokémon Nidoking. In episode #63, The Battle of the Badge, Gary Oak called out his Nidoking to battle when facing Giovanni Gym, Leader of the Viridian Gym. Nidoking easily defeated Giovanni's Golem, but sadly, he didn't fare so well against the next opponent, Mewtwo. The artwork is done by Ken Sugimori. CGC has certified 30 copies earning a Near Mint 7 grade with 121 graded higher.Auction Info
