L'emblématique couverture, entièrement peinte à la main, de l'intégrale du 2e cycle Pin-Up, La Guerre Froide (1998 à 2000), reprenant les 3 volumes du cycle, Blackbird, Colonel Abel et Gladys. Cette intégrale a été éditée à 500 exemplaires numérotés et signés. En pleine guerre froide, un Lockheed U-2 américain est abattu par un missile au-dessus de l'Union soviétique, contraignant son pilote à sauter en parachute. Intrigues, aventures en vue. Cette couverture est un véritable bijou, une petite oeuvre d'art entièrement peinte à la main, le fond compris. Le soin apporté au détail, à la réalisation générale de cette peinture en fait un incontournable dans l'histoire de Pin-Up. Acrylique, encre de Chine, technique mixte sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 24 x 34 cm. Signée. The iconic cover, entirely hand-painted, of the complete 2nd Pin-Up cycle, The Cold War/La Guerre Froide (1998 to 2000), featuring the 3 volumes of the cycle, Blackbird, Colonel Abel, and Gladys. This complete edition was produced in 500 numbered and signed copies. In the middle of the Cold War, an American Lockheed U-2 was shot down by a missile over the Soviet Union, forcing its pilot to parachute. Intrigues, adventures in sight. This cover is a real gem, an entirely hand-painted piece of art, the background included. The attention to detail, to the general realization of this painting, makes it a must have in Pin-Up history. Acrylic, ink, mixed media on Bristol paper with an image area of 9.5" x 13.5". Signed. In Excellent condition.
