Hugo Pratt Il Ragazzo Rapito - Kidnapped! Story Page 3 Original Art (Il Corriere dei Piccoli n.32, 1967). Very rare original art from an adaptation by Milo Milani of two works by Robert Louis Stevenson: L'Isola del tesoro, Treasure Island, and Il Ragazzo rapito, Kidnapped!, in 1965. This piece depicts the adventures of young David Balfour as he is hunted in the Highlands for his alleged involvement in Appin's murder. Remarkable work by Pratt; the inking is absolutely beautiful. Ink and watercolor on Bristol paper with an image area of ??12.5" x 16.5". Note the back showing the direct gouache color in order to obtain a direct color preview in transparency. The balloons are pasted. Tape residue. Two small notches, cutouts at the top and bottom of the page. Editorial Notes. Stamp. Signed. A wonder! In Excellent condition.

Les aventures du jeune David Balfour traqué dans les Highlands pour son implication supposée dans le meurtre d'Appin. Remarquable travail de Pratt, l'encrage est de toute beauté. Encre de Chine et aquarelle sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 31,5 x 42 cm. Notez l'arrière présentant la couleur directe à la gouache afin d'obtenir un aperçu de couleur directe en transparence. Les bulles sont collées. Résidus de papier collant. Deux petites encoches, découpes en haut et bas de page. Notes éditoriales. Cachet. Signée. Une merveille ! En Excellente condition.
