Hugo Pratt L'Ombra Contro il Generale Story Page 4 Original Art (Corriere dei Piccoli #27, 1969). Some three years before the launch of his iconic hero, Corto Maltese, Hugo Pratt created the masked vigilante L'Ombra, who fights organized crime. He would draw only two stories of the hero, later entrusting the task to another artist. This is story page four of the very first story of L'Ombra, published in issue #27 of the Corriere dei Piccoli. A beautiful page where each panel is composed of art paste-ups and retouching, all done in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area of 13.5" x 17.75". Light handling/edge wear. Corner creasing.
