Morris (Maurice de Bevere) Lucky Luke Painting Original Art (1970s). Lucky Luke, the most famous cowboy in European comics, poses in front of a mirror in this illustration by one of the main artists of the Franco-Belgian school of comics. This beautiful visual was used for the "Terrific Salik jeans" ad campaign to adorn promotional posters and stickers. The art, nicely rendered in ink and watercolor, was cut out and pasted onto a yellow acetate background which is taped to a rigid cardboard. Image area of 6.5" x 11.25". A rare piece that will please any discerning collectors! A promotional sticker using this visual is included in the lot. Light handling wear. In Excellent condition.More information about Morris.
