The End of Evangelion Mass Production Evas Ritual End Scene Production Cel C11/A37 (Gainax, 1997). From Hideaki Anno's celebrated anime film The End of Evangelion, this is an incredible original production cel featuring the ritual scene when the Mass Production Evas pierce open their own cores. Some people believe that the piercing of the core is to release the soul that's inside it. So in a sense, this is their way of letting the human souls that are trapped inside their cores free in order to take part in instrumentality. A famous and shocking image, this scene has met with significant speculation from fans and scholars of the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. This piece has a large hand-painted image area of 10" x 9", and it can be seen at the 1:10:05 mark of the film. The cel is numbered C11/A37 in the upper right corner, and it shows minor handling and edge wear. An exceptional cel from the thought-provoking scene. Tiré du célèbre film d'animation de Hideaki Anno, The End of Evangelion, il s'agit d'un incroyable cellulo de production original mettant en vedette la scène rituelle où les Evas de production de masse percent leurs propres noyaux. Certaines personnes croient que le perçage du noyau est de libérer l'âme qui est à l'intérieur.
